What can I expect from the Cedar River series?

The series started with one story - The Shortcut. As I got to know the folks of Cedar River, I became so attached to them that I didn't want to leave, so each book allows us to visit with old friends. You'll meet characters who read their Bibles, pray alone and with one another, and seek God's wisdom and leading. 

Most of my stories follow women who have some life experience behind them. Life doesn't stop after you turn twenty-five, and some of the hardest things to face are the disappointments, losses, and deferred hopes that arise as our lives unfold. These stories deserve to be told, too.
